What is Legacy’s technology use policy?
Legacy is a low-tech school by design. The effective implementation of comprehensive classical curriculum does not require the use of technology. Additionally, there are significant concerns related to the overuse of technology by children. The danger of excessive screen time is compounded by concerns over the type of content children are exposed to and the constant social disconnection that comes with it.
Legacy will only use technology for a clearly designed purpose and for a set amount of time. The primary use of technology will be for research in the upper high school grades.
