Making an impact on the lives of our students

The Legacy Board of Education is dedicated to keeping tuition affordable for our patrons.  However, at the current time the cost to educate a child is more than we are charging for tuition.  This difference is intentional because we believe every family who wants their children to have the Legacy experience should be able to receive it.  This is only sustainable through the generous support of our parents and patrons.  We are only able to fulfill our mission by partnering with people like you who believe in what we are doing.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Donations can be made through the donation button below, or checks can be made payable to “Legacy Academy” and mailed to our address: 949 Highway 165, Branson, MO 65616. Please notify the front office if you plan to send a check.

"Next Step” Project (Near-Term)
We are in the process of closing on our new campus to provide an appropriately-sized home for a maturing student body with a rich God-honoring history. Along with this $360,000 down payment, our strategic planning team identified three other initiatives that would propel us beyond our tuition-based budget to serve our 230 students: credentialing all teachers through ACCS (our classical accreditation agency), shuttling grades 6-8 from a highway 65 exit, and increasing our needs-based financial aid.

Capital Campaign (Long-Term)
The strategic planning team has a comprehensive long-term strategic plan that includes the successful completion of our capital campaign. Although we started our capital campaign with the “Next Step” Project, the complete campaign includes expanding the campus to be increasingly beautiful, safe, and energy efficient, smoothly transitioning programs, positions, and culture to welcome the coming Rhetoric School (Grades 9-12), seeking, honoring, and retaining teachers who commit to long-term labors of love and professional excellence, and remembering the forgotten Christian families in our community by dignifying and welcoming those families with children that have special needs.

Needs-Based Financial Aid Fund (Yearly)
Our desire is for every family to have access to a Christ-centered education. This is only achievable when financial aid is made available through the generous support of our parents and patrons. We have established the Jana Winn Scholarship & Financial Aid Fund in honor of Jana for over 20 years of service to both Legacy Academy and Preschool. We are only able to fulfill our mission by partnering with people like you who believe in impacting the next generation.

Near & Far Service Trips (Yearly)
The Legacy Parent Counsel asks patrons to sponsor Near & Far Service Trips. Each grade dedicates at least one day a year to spread out across the Branson Community and serve ministries and nonprofits. Whether it’s singing songs for grandmas and grandpas, doing yard work, or organizing food pantries, we are confident that our students will love serving alongside their Legacy Family. Moreover, as our students mature into Rhetoric School years (grades 9-12), we seek to have at least one international service trip to witness that God’s glory is not limited to Branson, but all around the world!

Endowment Fund (Each Generation)
Legacy desires to establish an endowment that will supplement the needs of the school on an annual basis. The earnings from our endowment will allow Legacy to expand and grow. We are currently seeking five to ten seed gifts between $100,000 and $250,000 each to be given over the next five years.
